BAM: The Netscape internal code-name for our code modularization effort. It stands for "Born Again Modularization." It hinges upon XPCOM.

DOM: Document Object Model - the heart of Dynamic HTML. See our DOM technical documentation for more details.
DTD: Document Type Definition - specifies a set of elements, their relationships and the tag set to mark the document. A good introduction to SGML concepts can be found here.
HTML: Hypertext Markup Language - NGLayout implements HTML 4.0; see the W3C's HTML site for more info
