Mozilla for Rhapsody Project

General Information

The Mozilla for Rhapsody Project is a team a volunteers who intend to bring Netscape's Communicator suite of applications to Apple's Rhapsody operating system platform. The project is not managed by Netscape Communications, nor Apple Computer. It is an effort of the Internet and Rhapsody community.

Goals

The first goal is clear: make it work. There are several hurdles to be jumped in that task, and some actions items fall neatly out from there. See strategy.

What happens after then is not so clear, but there are plenty of things that can be done. What gets done will depend entirely on who is doing the work. We'll get to that topic later.

Questions

  • Where do we fit in with other efforts (e.g. Openscape?).
  • What's Rhapsody?
  • What's the Rhapsody FAQ?

Thanks

Netscape Communications Corp., of course, deserves a lot of thanks for giving us the opportunity to build on the work they've done over the past few years.

Several key resources are provided by the Object Foundation. We thank them for their support.

Collophon

Site was produced using OmniWeb 3 for Rhapsody, a fine web browser in its own right, with occasional help from GNU Emacs.
